Fastball is an American pop-rock band that formed in Austin, Texas in the 1990s. The band originally called themselves "Magneto U.S.A" but changed their name after signing with Hollywood Records. Fastball consists of Miles Zuniga (lead guitar and vocals), Tony Scalzo (bass and vocals), and Joey Shuffield (drums). Jeff Groves (bass guitar) joined the group in 2004. Fastball released one breakout hit single, "The Way", in 1998.
